Starting October 26, Albertans who need another person to complete a vehicle service transaction on their behalf must use a secure online authorization form through their verified Alberta.ca Account.

This new digital process is designed to make vehicle service transactions more convenient and secure, while helping reduce the risk of fraud.

Authorization for Vehicle Services is commonly used when a family member, dealership, or other authorized representative needs to complete a vehicle service transaction on your behalf.
