Get Started on your Vehicle Registration Renewal in Alberta

Take the hassle out of renewing your vehicle registration by using our online renewal system: Remind Renew Relax!  Keep in mind that if you would like to make changes to your name, address or other information, you will need to visit one of the following Drayden Insurance and Registry offices:

Renewing your Registration Online

All you need to renew online is the following:

  • Current Vehicle Registration Certificate
  • Valid pink card with insurance details
  • Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit card

Please note, if your registration is due to expire in less than 10 business days, please visit one of our registry locations.  If you have outstanding fines, those will need to be paid first and given a couple days to process and clear your file.

AARA: The easy way to renew your Vehicle Registration Online

Renew online, save time and receive your tabs in the mail!  While you’re at it, be sure to sign up for free vehicle and drivers licence renewal reminders for upcoming years.

To complete your Alberta vehicle registration renewal at the convenience of your own computer, follow these steps:

Step 1 – Click on the Remind, Renew, Relax button above & to the right, it will take you to the Alberta Association of Registry Agents (AARA) website.

Step 2 – If you haven’t yet, set up your reminders account. You will need to provide your name, email and cell number for SMS text messages. If you have already set up your reminders account, click the button for returning customers to send yourself an access link.

Step 3 – Once your reminder account is set up you can select “Get Started Now” to renew your registrations.

Step 4 – Follow the instructions on the Vehicle Registration Renewal page. Be sure to have your licence plate number, registration number and insurance information handy before starting this process.

Step 5 – Sit back, relax and wait for your tabs in the mail.

If requesting a renewal with less than 10 days’ notice please consider visiting us in person to ensure you obtain your tabs in time!
